A real-world cohort study showed that GLP-1 RAs were associated with reduced healthcare utilization and lower treatment escalation among adults with chronic migraine compared with topiramate. GLP-1 RAs reduced emergency department visits, hospitalizations, triptan use, migraine-related procedures, and the need for additional preventive therapies, supporting a potential role in reducing migraine-related healthcare burden.
