Tag : FRACTIONAL FLOW RESERVE

The multicenter, randomized ALL-RISE trial demonstrated that angiography-derived fractional flow reserve (FFRangio)-guided revascularization for intermediate coronary lesions is non-inferior to conventional wire-based physiology. At 1 year, clinical outcomes (death, myocardial infarction, unplanned revascularization) were comparable and consistent across subgroups. Importantly, FFRangio significantly optimized procedural efficiency, reducing assessment time, fluoroscopy exposure, and overall duration.

In the treatment of coronary artery disease (CAD), fractional flow reserve (FFR) can be performed during coronary angiography to evaluate the need for percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).1 Nevertheless, the efficacy of wire-based FFR is constrained by its practical limitations.
