The phase 3 SCOUT-HCM trial shows mavacamten significantly improves LVOT obstruction in adolescents with HCM
The phase 3 SCOUT-HCM trial demonstrated that mavacamten significantly reduced left ventricular outflow tract (LVOT) gradient and improved symptoms, obstruction, and cardiac function in adolescents with obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). Clinically meaningful improvements in New York Heart Association (NYHA) class and cardiac structure further support mavacamten as a potential targeted treatment option in this population.
