Clopidogrel outperforms aspirin in reducing thrombotic and bleeding risk in chronic maintenance phase post-PCI with DES: 10-year HOST-EXAM findings
The 10-year follow-up of the HOST-EXAM trial showed that clopidogrel monotherapy was superior to aspirin in reducing POCO, thrombotic events, and bleeding risk in patients after PCI with DES. These long-term findings support clopidogrel as a preferred antiplatelet monotherapy strategy during the chronic maintenance phase post-PCI with DES.
