Cardiac complications are linked to the specific therapeutics used in oncology. Avoiding long-term serious outcomes in survivors is a priority of the multidisciplinary area, particularly among pediatric patients. An abundance of international guidelines have been developed for the acute monitoring of cardio-oncology side effects for novel cancer therapy for adults. However, prior to this Delphi expert consensus approach to cardio-oncology, none were specific for pediatric patients during therapy. This study provides recommendations on who should be reviewed, what should be investigated, as well as when to follow up for different treatment modalities.
