Atogepant demonstrates superior efficacy and tolerability vs. topiramate in migraine prevention: Results from the head-to-head TEMPLE trial
In the phase 3b TEMPLE trial, atogepant demonstrated superior efficacy and tolerability vs. topiramate for migraine prevention. Atogepant also showed fewer treatment discontinuations due to adverse events, greater reductions in monthly migraine days, and higher rates of ≥50% reduction in migraine frequency, while maintaining a favorable safety profile.

The phase 3 SPACE trial found that fremanezumab significantly decreases episodic migraine frequency in children aged 6 to 17, with notable reductions in monthly migraine days (MMDs) and headache severity compared to placebo.
